League of Legends Lecture

League of Legends Lecture is a new series that brings in-depth explanations of the most important concepts to learn as a beginner or intermediate player. It’s designed to teach players fundamentals like champion mechanics, micro and macro knowledge, roles, and meta-game strategy.

When co-founders Marc Merrill and Brandon Beck started Riot Games in 2004, they didn’t know what the game would become. But they did know they wanted to create something different from the games of their time.

They threw themselves into developing what they called Onslaught, and spent the first few years of their company’s life seeking venture capital funding for the project. Then they started focusing on what the project was really about: a game that allowed people to play together and to have real conversations about the world around them.

During that period, Jew and the small crew of artists, playtesters, and interns at Riot often found themselves playing League of Legends well into the night. They were tinkering with it to make sure the game was fun for them, but they were also learning about how to build it from scratch.

If you want to get better at a video game, it’s very important to treat it like you would any other competitive activity. Achieving a high level of skill in League is very achievable, but you have to approach it the same way you’d tackle any other challenging and complicated thing, like, say, volleyball or chess. 롤대리
